Longonot Loft is eco-friendly ‘loft house’ built at the foothills of Mt. Longonot, Lake Naivasha. The house is a unique, open plan, modern designed which retains a country cottage feel. The house is 'off-grid', power comes from the sun and water from our borehole.
The house is built on a private estate in the 'bush', bordering Kedong Ranch. We often have Buffalo, Zebra, Waterbuck, Wildebeest, Impala, Jackel & Hyena passing through the estate.
The house has two bedrooms. A master downstairs (ensuite) and a big loft room upstairs (with its own bathroom at the bottom of the stairs). Each room has a super king size bed. Two extra single beds can be added to either room upon request at a surcharge of $30 each per night. We have a crib available for small children.
The house is self catering so guests must bring all food with them. Essentials like drinking water, tea, coffee, salt, pepper and cooking oil are provided. Upon request we can look for a chef if you want one. The normal rate is 2500/= (approx. $20) per day.
Horse riding, climbing, hiking, boating & bird watching are all close by!
We will provide you with an information sheet listing all activities, restaurants and phone numbers for bookings.
